Add Nature To Your Fall Décor

Sometimes we think that when we are decorating for the new season, we must spend a ton of money purchasing the most popular décor for the season. I for one like to take a different approach to decorating for fall. Adding nature into your fall décor is a great way to save money and add style to your home.

Here are 3 ways that you can add nature to your fall décor this year-

1. Use tree limbs and branches:

On my mantle I incorporated simple cut tree limbs accented with a few candles.  These limbs add a touch of warmth and accent the fall décor perfectly. I gathered these while out on a family drive a few weeks ago.

Here I used branches to add some texture to my fall décor.

I also added some to my front porch steps.  You can use these anywhere to add simple fall touches!

2. Take your fall décor outside:

This year we had a fun fall dinner outside.  It was set up with many different outdoor accents, including some fall leaves, pumpkins, and more.  It’s simple accents that make the most impact.

3. Use simple produce to decorate for fall:

I used apples and pumpkins as a source of fall décor.  Pumpkins always seem like an obvious choice, but don’t discount them.  They say fall better than anything and I love using them in my table centerpieces.

The apples are a great way to add décor to your home while adding a source of tasty treats as well.  These apples came right off the tree in my backyard.  You can add a bowl of apples to your fall table scape, or fill a tiered tray full of these sweet, healthy treats.

Make sure you add some nature to your fall décor this year.  It is an easy and inexpensive way to create a cozy and inspired space to spend with family and friends!
