Kids spaces are meant to be fun and full of personality. It’s the one room where you can go bold and crazy without having to apologize. Here are some great ideas to achieve a stylish playroom while still keeping it fun. Using colorful patterns and textures can bring in the whimsical while keeping the walls white brings in the style.

One trend that works in playrooms is wallpaper. There are so many cool, kid wallpaper options with fun patterns and themes. It will immediately make for an awesome space!

Swings are a hit right now! And what kid doesn’t love a swing? Indoor swings come in a variety of materials and still look modern while creating a fun vibe. Indoor hammocks are also on trend right now.

When designing a playroom, don’t think that you have to just use childish furniture. Adult, mid century furniture is durable and looks super cool in a kids space. Stick with leather and upholstery fabric that cleans easy. Add a beautiful rug to bring the room together.

Chalkboard walls should be used in every playroom! They look cool and allow the kids to be artists at any time of the day. Use colored chalk to create even more fun!

Kids love to think outside of the box, so we should do the same when decorating their spaces.
