We’ve heard of Brownstones in New York, but Phoenix, Arizona? The Chateau on Central is a collection of 21 five-story brownstone residences ranging from 5,000 to over 8,000 square feet in the heart of Phoenix. Each include a basement and 4 floors above ground, a private elevator, and multiple private balconies. The builder: A Finer Touch Construction.
AFT Construction is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and built around extraordinary people that have over 110 years of combined industry experience in all areas of construction. They perform in both commercial and residential construction, ranging from custom homes to retail and hospitality. Today, we are taking a tour of Chateau 18, also known as “The Beth”.
Everyone knows the kitchen is the heart of the home. To accommodate the whole family, AFT created an open concept that includes a living and dining room space to accompany the large, open kitchen. The colors are minimal paired with bold details. Here, they chose a metallic black wall with custom flying pigs – as they say, when pigs fly…
On the other side, the same metallic black paired with a fireplace. Plants are utilized throughout the space to bring a pop of color.
The kitchen is the epitome of urban luxury. One wall of large windows bringing natural light, two walls of exposed brick, floor to ceiling storage. At the center of it is a large, Calacatta Nuvo, Polished waterfall island. (Check out the veining!)
The kitchen is both functional and beautiful. AFT Construction chose cast concrete to contrast the island. Depending on the time of day and lighting, the concrete has tones of grey or brown.
Imagine having a meal with views of the grounds! The dining room is anything but ordinary, with its large windows, access to a balcony and high ceiling. A hidden beauty- the glass-door storage below the concrete perimeter allowing for easy access to plates and matching the openness of the space.
Let’s head on over to the golden master bedroom. This expansive beauty includes a bed on one side and two couches on the other!
The white, black and gold color scheme extends to the master bath. The dual sinks and vanity are topped with Pure White countertops.
Can you spot the ottoman? It blends in with the basket weave floor and shower tiles
Each of the chateaus come with the option of a wine cellar, home theater, gallery, or game room. Take your glass of wine out to the balcony and watch the sun set!
Does the floor pattern look familiar? The wall pattern of the wine cellar was extended to this suite!
The Beth includes multiple bath and powder rooms. This one features a large, industrial-style shower with subway tiles and a Pure White vanity.
This first floor powder room has a bit of a rustic accent with the wooden towel shelf. The Pure White countertop is a simple contrast to the accent wall.
While the living room features flying pigs, this powder room is filled with rabbits! A simple white cabinet with a Pure Whitecounter was installed to allow for the wallpaper to stand out.
The color scheme was extended to the laundry room. The golden wall includes a large chalk board perfect for keeping the family organized.
We must agree with the wall- enjoy the little things! The laundry room includes a little farmhouse sink along a subway tile wall.
It’s impossible to have enough storage in ones’ home. Take a peek at the kitchenette, featuring a Pure White countertop.
We end the tour on the patio where the sun is setting and the fire is burning. A Finer Touch Construction has created the perfect urban- meets- luxury home. What’s your favorite feature of the Beth?
