GENERAL WEBSITE QUESTIONS
What is InteriorCollective.com?

The Interior Collective is the most exclusive interior design community on the web. It’s a place where professionals and novices come together to share inspiration, remodeling and redecorating advice, product reviews, design trends and advancements, and the resources needed to elevate any design dream to new heights.

How do I participate?
All you need to do is log onto InteriorCollective.com and join the conversation. You can also find great content by “liking” us on Facebook at facebook.com/CaesarstoneUS.
SIGN UP/LOG IN QUESTIONS
How do I join the Community?
To join the community you will need to register for a profile. There are two ways to register depending on the type of email address you have. If you have a YAHOO or GMAIL email address, or wish to use Facebook Connect:

  1. Click the ‘Join now’ button located in the upper right hand corner of the site.
  2. Click the ‘Sign Up With…’ button that corresponds with your email address.
  3. A window will appear, allowing you to login to your YAHOO, GMAIL, or Facebook, depending on the Sign Up button you clicked.
  4. Once you have logged in, the window will disappear and the website will reload, taking you to the registration page.
  5. Fill out your Name, Age, Gender, Email Address, and Zip Code.
  6. Add a profile avatar (this is optional).
  7. Click the Create Account button. On the next page you have to option to connect your social media accounts to your profile.
  8. Click CONNECT for each social media service you would like to connect to your InteriorCollective.com profile. This step is optional. A window will open asking you to log in to your account and authorize InteriorCollective.com to connect to your account. If you do not yet have an account, you will need to visit that social media service’s website to register before connecting to your InteriorCollective.com profile.
  9. When you are finished connecting your social media services, click DONE. You now have a profile and are ready to start participating in the Community!

If you do not have a YAHOO or GMAIL address, or do not wish to use Facebook Connect:

  1. Click the ‘Join now’ button located in the upper right hand corner of the site.
  2. Enter your email address, choose a password, confirm the password, and then click the ‘Sign Up’ button.
  3. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address. Click the activation link contained in the email, and you will be redirected back to InteriorCollective.com.
  4. The website will load, taking you to the registration page.
  5. Fill out your Name, Age, Gender, Email Address, and Zip Code.
  6. Add a profile avatar (this is optional).
  7. Click the Create Account button. On the next page you have to option to connect your social media accounts to your profile.
  8. Click CONNECT for each social media service you would like to connect to your InteriorCollective.com profile. This step is optional. How do I login to my InteriorCollective.com profile?

If you registered with a YAHOO or GMAIL address, or used Facebook Connect:

  1. Click the ‘LOGIN’ button located in the upper right hand corner of the site.
  2. Click the ‘Login With…’ button that corresponds with your registration.
  3. A window will appear, allowing you to login to your YAHOO, GMAIL, or Facebook, depending on the Login button you clicked.
  4. Once you have logged in, the window will disappear and the website will reload. You will now be logged into InteriorCollective.com.

If you did not register with a YAHOO or GMAIL address, and chose not to use Facebook Connect:

  1. Click the ‘LOGIN’ button located in the upper right hand corner of the site.
  2. Enter your email address and password, and then click the ‘LOGIN’ button.
  3. Type in your site password and then click the Sign In button.
  4. The site will reload and you will now be logged into InteriorCollective.com.
PROFILE QUESTIONS
How do I upload photos to my profile page?
  1. In the Photo section of your profile click the “Add a New Photo” option.
  2. A window will appear, allowing you to browse your computer to find the photo you would like to upload (2MB max).
  3. Locate the folder where the photo is located on your computer, select the one you want to upload, and click “Open”.
  4. Once you have selected your image file, you can add an optional Photo Title and Description.
  5. Either Select the Photo Album you wish to place your photo in, or create a New Album to store the photo.
  6. Click the ‘ADD PHOTO’ button to complete your photo upload.
How do I import videos to my profile page?
  1. To import videos you must first have connected your YouTube account to your InteriorCollective.com profile. If your YouTube account is already connected, please click the ‘Add A New Video’ option.
  2. A window will appear, allowing you to either upload a video from your computer to your YouTube account, or if you have previously uploaded your video to YouTube, you can select it from a list of videos from your YouTube account.
  3. Once you have uploaded your video, or selected the previously uploaded video from your YouTube account, you can add an optional Video Title and Description.
  4. Click the ‘INSERT VIDEO’ button to complete your video upload.
How do I share my uploaded content?
For each piece of content that you upload to your profile, you have the option to ‘LIKE’ that content. Clicking this option will let users know you have liked certain content. You can also Submit uploaded content to a Site Gallery, where all users will be able to view it.
How do I post a story to my profile page?
  1. In the Stories section of your profile click the “Create a story” option. Stories are similar to a blog, allowing you a place to share your thoughts in post form or enter our weekly contests. Only users who are your friends will have access to read your Stories.
  2. Type in the Title of your story.
  3. Type your Story into the section marked ‘Story Content’.
  4. Click ‘SAVE’ to save your Story to your profile.
  5. Once you have saved your story, you will be able to share your story on Facebook or Twitter, and Submit the story to the Site Gallery.
How do I import videos to my profile page?
  1. To import videos you must first have connected your YouTube account to your InteriorCollective.com profile. If your YouTube account is already connected, please click the ‘Add A New Video’ option.

CONTESTS
What are the weekly giveaways and how can I win?
By becoming a member of The Interior Collective and commenting on blog posts and in the forum you are eligible to receive a one-year subscription to ELLE DECOR The subscriptions will be awarded based on the number of comments per user left on the website. The weekly contest runs from Thursday – Thursday of each week.
How does the Reimagine your Remodel Contest work?
Beginning on Monday, October 15, 2012, contestants will be able to submit a photo of a room in their home at interiorcollective.com. During the promotion period users may log on and share a photo of a room in their home according to the weekly theme. You must include the Caesarstone color along with a description of how you’d like to remodel the space. The more creative, the better! Each week a user will win a $100 gift card to Bed Bath & Beyond just for entering! After the submission period ends, The Kitchen Cousins will select one Grand Prize winner per category. The 4 Grand Prize winners will win a custom design consult with The Kitchen Cousins themselves, as well as premium products from Caesarstone and Thermador.
When does the contest begin/end?
You will be able to submit your entries starting Monday, October 15, 2012 at 9am EST; entries will be accepted until Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 11:59pm EST.
Can I submit more than once?
Yes, you may submit to the contest as often as you’d like.
Do I need to add a photo to submit?
Yes, a photo of your project is required to enter the contest.
What are the eligibility guidelines?
The contest is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old as of June 11th, 2012, and who are registered Interior Collective community members.
If I am a U.S. Resident but am temporarily living overseas, may I enter?
You are eligible if your permanent mailing address is in the U.S. or D.C. If you become a winner, this is the address to which your prize check would be mailed.
What are the submission guidelines to enter the contest?
Each Submission must consist of the following:
  1. A photo of a room in your home
  2. A written description of the Project that does not exceed 1,500 characters and that indicates the color of Caesarstone preferred.

The photo in the Submission must not include the likeness of any person, not include the logo or trademark of any other company in a prominent manner, and must not contain any materials that are obscene, defamatory or otherwise not in good taste.

Can I change my submission once I’ve entered?
No. Once you’ve submitted an entry, you may not change it.
If I’ve submitted my entry and I made a mistake, may I edit it?
No. Once you’ve submitted an entry, you may not edit it.
What are The Kitchen Cousins looking for in the submissions?
Entries will be judged in three disciplines. Entries meeting the requirements in the Official Rules will be judged according the following: Relevancy to the contest category theme (30%), Originality (40%) and Creativity (30%).
If my submission is selected, how and when will I be notified?
If you are selected as the winner of the Reimagine your Remodel contest, you will receive an email from the Caesarstone team as well as a private message on The Interior Collective site.
