Designer Spotlight | Andrew Mann Architecture
Design lovers are in for a real treat today! The subject of our designer spotlight is Andrew Mann Architecture, a Bay Area-based residential architecture firm with a portfolio full of incredibly elegant interiors worth drooling over. Above, a clean and very simple kitchen design is enlivened with a masterful mix of materials and colors. Blizzard counters by Caesarstone top the kitchen island and reflect the white walls and hanging lamps (love those shades!), while the paneled walls, a naturally textured backsplash and modern raffia counter stools break up the expanse of white with a welcome dose of neutral coloring.
Pulling back we see the true genius of Mann’s design: those same panels under the kitchen island mirror those used on the walls of the living area. But rather than look too “matchy-matchy”, this design feels organic, natural and (to use Andrew’s words) inevitable.
Basic beautiful Blizzard was also used for the cabinetry in this kitchen design. We simply can’t get over how beautifully lines are used in this design. From the steeply pitched roof to the sleek cabinetry, this kitchen is architectural and cozy at the same time.
For this gorgeous bathroom, Mann chose Pure White counters and materials such as acrylic (on the vanity stool) and warm wood for the walls. And, of course, we can’t forget the soaking tub with a view!
But the tub isn’t even the best part: with those framed mirrors and well-curated counter accessories, this design is simple luxury at its finest.
For this guest room kitchenette, Mann chose Caesarstone counters in Blizzard to line the back wall, providing a durable and sophisticated prep and serving area for the most used room in the house.
