Designer Spotlight | Stritt Design & Construction

by ·

Established in 2001 near Sydney, Australia, Stritt Design & Construction creates stunning residences on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. And while we’re thousands of miles from the land down under, their work is testament to how quality design is universal. Check out a few examples how Stritt implements good design in these coastal homes:

Stritt understands how awesome white surfaces can be; they maximize natural light, open the space, and allow for accent pieces to really pop. Above, Stritt uses white cabinetry, a white backsplash and Caesarstone Blizzard countertops to great effect. We love how the unique oven stands out!

Stritt employs Caesarstone Blizzard and other white elements to reflect the tranquility of the North Avalon location. The end-result is seamless and minimal, and contrasts very well with the rich wood flooring. It goes to show that against a white canvas, details like orchids can transform a kitchen into a dazzling living space.

It is not just kitchens where Stritt keeps their design elegant and white. In the bathroom of a Palm Beach residence, Blizzard is again paired with white cabinetry and fixtures to create a stunning space. We love how the matching wicker hamper and toiletry basket contrast against the white and bring the room together!

At this Newport Beach house, as with many of their projects, Stritt understands the greatest design element can be the stunning vistas and scenic backdrops. Again, they implemented a minimal design with Caesarstone Blizzard and other all-white elements to great effect. By avoiding bright colors and over-stated accent pieces, the space becomes a compliment to the gorgeous water front views.

The lesson for today? Employing white surfaces is a versatile, under-stated way to create timeless, beautiful designs.
