David Alhadeff is the founder of The Future Perfect, a platform for exceptional work by contemporary designers with locations in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Since founding The Future Perfect in 2003, Alhadeff has worked closely with designers around the world to commission one-of-a-kind pieces and special exhibitions that showcase the best in contemporary design, presented in unique and thought-provoking ways. Dubbed “New York’s Foremost Champion of American Design” by The New York Times, Alhadeff has also played a pivotal role in bringing major international designers to the American market, including Piet Hein Eek and DIMORESTUDIO. In January 2017 The Future Perfect launched Casa Perfect, a new gallery-cum-retail concept in the Hollywood Hills. In addition to developing The Future Perfect’s diverse programming, including exhibitions at Design Miami/, Alhadeff regularly comments on design in publications including The New York Times, Financial Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
