For today’s Designer Spotlight, we journey to the golden state – California. West coast architecture offers an ease and openness that we are excited to celebrate with Four Point Design Build Inc, a design firm based in Los Angeles. Four Point Design believe every detail matters and, as the saying goes, seeing is believing! This kitchen captures the history of the 1920’s bungalow with every detail neatly in place – from the rustic plank flooring to the Frosty Carrina counters to the personal family antiques, this design stays true to the roots of the home down to the last detail.

Anytime a rolling ladder can be incorporated into a kitchen design, we are on board! After all, how is anyone supposed to reach the cabinets ABOVE the uppers? Rolling ladders are both functional and a fun rustic design element. Speaking of rustic, the detailed window latches and Dutch door complete the cohesive design and truly make this space one of a kind.

This bathroom is what Four Point refers to as “modern rustic vintage”. The modern: Pure White countertops and new hardware throughout. The rustic: the beautiful reclaimed wood on the vanity and tub. The vintage: fun items like the sconces and egg basket repurposed as an organizational piece.

From traditional to modern, dark to bright, enclosed to open, this home got a complete renovation. Pure White perimeter counters help to brighten the space and soft green tiles offer a touch of color.

We can even sneak a peak at the eat-in bench to the side. With tons of seating around the island and the bench, the kitchen is sure to be the hot-spot of the home!

Tons of storage, tons of light, and plenty of style in this galley-style bathroom. You don’t need a huge footprint to make a stunning design! Pure White counters and intricate floors make for a spa-like oasis.

Good-bye 1970’s and hello 2017. Four Point Design was tasked with a complete gut and remodel of the townhouse and we think they did an amazing job! This airy kitchen with Frosty Carrina countertops is entertainment- ready.

Turn the corner and a cozy little nook awaits. Coffee, a snuggly blanket, and a colorful book would keep us in this corner of the house all day.

Design tip: incorporate color into white spaces using accessories like pillows, books and artwork!

We wouldn’t mind being guests if this was our bathroom! Four Point Design Build maintained the original set up of the room and simply updated it with bright lights, a gray and white color scheme, and of course, Organic White countertops.

We give Four Point Design Build four stars of excellence. Wouldn’t you?
