Karly Duncan is the woman behind Karly Kristina Design, a full service design firm that specializes in everything from residential to commercial interiors. Today we’re going to focus on a single project: The Bromley House. This project began life as a single family home that Karly turned into a chic tri-plex with Caesarstone surfaces used throughout the space in unique, creative ways.
The two photos above show how flexible Caesarstone can be in the hands of a talented designer such as Karly. Caesarstone in sophisticated Frosty Carrina is used for the island and while sleek Blizzard brightens up the perimeter of this airy kitchen. We love how Karly has broken up the space in a way that’s functional for food prep yet still modern and open.
Let’s just take a closer look at that Blizzard counter and how it plays off the white tiled backsplash and the warm cabinets. The red knobs on the range oven are a playful touch that really sets this design apart.
Can you spot the Caesarstone from this angle? Yes, that’s Frosty Carrina framing the fireplace and creating a material connection with the kitchen island. The flecks of grey on the surface pull in the darker tones in this color palette while still keeping things light.
Bravo to Karly Kristina Design for such a wonderful job mixing and matching materials in a small space. We doubt there’s anyone who wouldn’t love living in this cozy yet contemporary home.
