Jack Steindl and Reg Marzec founded Normandy Builders (now Normandy Remodeling) in 1979 with the idea of creating a better kind of home remodeling company in the Chicago area. The goal was to take the stress out of Chicago home improvement – something we all need!
Their idea has proven so successful that 35 years later, they have a staff of over 40 designers, architects, project managers and craftsmen. These specialists work together with you to create an optimal design-build experience with concept drawings, architectural blueprints and the skillful construction of those plans, all with the guidance and involvement of the designer from start to finish. And the results speak for themselves.
This transitional kitchen designed by Normandy Designer Stephanie Bryant has some of the clean lines of contemporary styles, and is blended with accents of traditional styles, such as moldings and corbels. The chunky marble countertop on the island is the perfect duo with the Caesarstone Pebble countertops around the perimeter – showing that versatility in countertops can make quite the elegant statement.
A kitchen with our favorite feature: double islands! Again, the Normandy designer—this time Ann Stockard—chooses various countertop materials (including our very own Lagos Blue) to show off the many spaces and stations within the large kitchen. The iridescent backsplash and shell light fixtures add a sophisticated sparkle into the glam style.
Lagos Blue Caesarstone surrounding the tub and atop the vanity work perfectly with the light-blue and natural hues used throughout this spa-like bathroom. And talk about a fancy shower with the tech-savvy fixtures! We want a test run!
