One design element that is always a go to for any space that needs a splash of color is colorful art. It immediately brings interest and beauty to a space. For example, I recently helped a couple add color to their bungalow. We took a wall in their living room and filled it with small and large pieces of vibrant art. Even though the space was neutral and plain, it felt stylish and updated with the touches of color and pattern.

If you have certain colors in mind but can’t find the right piece, create a DIY art using a large canvas and shades of your choice. Go as abstract as needed and wanted.

Choose a large painting to use for a large sized wall, this is a great option if you don’t want to display several pieces. It keeps the room simple yet beautiful.

For high impact, create a gallery wall with a variety of colorful pieces. The more art, the better. It will immediately add high drama in the space!

And if color overwhelms you, add one piece of colorful art to a neutral art gallery wall. It will give it just a pop of personality.

What are your thoughts about colorful art?
