House Tour | House of Coco by Ginny Capo

by ·

Welcome to Ocean Reef, where the houses are big and the views are as extensive as the ocean views. Before House of Coco’s Ginny Capo put her touch on the home, it was filled with canary yellow walls, baby blue ceilings, and green marble throughout – feel free to shudder. After tearing some walls down, adding neutral colors and playing up the views, the house was instantly transformed. Let’s take a look!

Capo’s goal was to create an open space that utilized natural light. In doing so, the living room became functional and inviting, taking advantage of the sky-high ceiling for a truly grand entrance!

With existing retractable doors opening up to the backyard, Capo knew she had to capitalize on the view and infinity pool by extending the living room feel to the great, yet covered, outdoors. It’s the perfect display of indoor-outdoor living – we can definitely imagine sipping wine by the pool in this gorgeous space!

After a day of fresh air and sunlight, it’s easy to work up an appetite. Luckily, the expansive kitchen is easily accessed from both the living room and patio (aka living room #2). This entire home is made for hosting, but this kitchen is particularly perfect! Abundant seating, views to the pool, and enough workspace to whip up a meal for all.

The kitchen is complete with tons of storage, natural light, and Frosty Carrina counters. Our favorite part- the large island that can hold eight people! If that’s not enough space, head over to the dining table on the patio and dine al fresco.

Capo used a variation of soft whites and neutral fabrics with texture throughout to create a “zen” aesthetic, mirroring the beauty and tranquility of the infinity pool and the grandeur of the entryway. Bonus: those charming bay windows!

We declare every master bedroom must have views of the ocean when living in Ocean Reef. If it were up to us, every bedroom, in general, would have views of the ocean.

We’re renaming this article our [dream]house tour. With views on views and a stunning home to complement the natural beauty outside, life can’t get much better!
