When designing the Turnstone House, Sharon aimed to keep the space open and bright, using art and accessories to make it feel like a home away from home for guests. “Durable, easy to clean surfaces such as Caesarstone countertops, tile floors, wood and acrylic furniture keep the space simple and elegant,” says Sharon.“We loved using Caesarstone in this project because it is beautiful, durable and easy to clean and maintain. Because this is a rental property for now and a home for down the road, we needed countertops that will withstand the wear and tear of rentals but still be beautiful when we are ready to live in the property,” she continues.
The modern, bright red chairs at the kitchen island (which is adorned with Pebble quartz) add a pleasant pop of tropical color to the otherwise neutral kitchen. Quartz Reflections countertops grace the perimeter and pick up the beautiful sunshine from the glass window behind the oven.

Large sliding glass doors create a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor areas.
Even the whimsical collection of silver chrome fish from Phillips Company on the wall look like they're dancing with delight in this dreamy beach home.
Woven furniture topped with cream-colored cushions stick with the laid-back, tropical style of the design. The turquoise, hourglass-shaped tables pick up the blues of the shimmering water in the luxurious pool.
Check out all of the beautiful greenery used in the backyard! We can practically hear the steel-drums playing in the background.
All of the art used throughout was created by Sharon and her company, Sand Dollar Images. The images are of the Turks and Caicos Islands and feature vivid colors of compelling island scenes. Dyes are infused directly into specially coated aluminum sheets to create the artwork. This technique gives the images a luminescent appearance and an ultra-hard, scratch-resistant surface that is both waterproof and weatherproof, making it the perfect artwork to display both indoors and out.
All three bedrooms are made comfortable and breezy with king size beds and their own attached bathrooms. Quartz Reflections was used for the bathroom countertops to keep the space looking fresh and cohesive.
From the upstairs deck, you can kick back, relax and watch the sunset over the renowned Grace Bay Beach.
There you have it: a perfect beachy, breezy vacation getaway. Grab a Mai-Tai and book a plane ticket, it's time for a trip to the Turnstone House!
