5 Last Minute Valentine’s Day DIY Crafts For Your Home
If you're anything like me, you are patting yourself on the back for putting away the Christmas decorations and haven't even noticed the calendar quietly flip to February. Well, wake up! Valentine's day is here! Thankfully, Valentine's day is also one of the easiest holidays to decorate for. Just add in a touch of pink and a dash of red and of course, loads of hearts, and you are all set. Easy squeezy!
I've selected some easy do it yourself projects that will help you do just that. I'm sure even those without a predilection for DIYs will get along just great and your schedule won't be affected too much. They should take less than an hour (and some even 5 minutes!) and will be the perfect accessory for a romantic night, a good time with a bunch of girlfriends, or activities with your enthusiastic kiddos.
Free Valentine’s Downloadable Posters
Jordan Ferney of Oh Happy Day has created a series of cool giant posters with fun sayings like "let's make out" and "come hither" that you can download and print for $5 at your nearest Kinkos. Just fold it up and give it away or surprise someone by putting it up on a wall.
Jenny from Hank and Hunt created a fun backdrop for your Valentine's event. She used a simple heart cut out and used fun bright colors to create the unique look.
Geometric Heart Wall Art
Jeran from Oleander and Palm took Valentine's day to a cool level by mixing up the traditional color palette with two shades of pink and gold that blends well against a dark grey background. She even includes a video to show how she crafted it and how you can recreate it.
Paper Heart Garlands
Tredenser, a Swedish site, create this easy heart garland that would look lovely against your mantle or hanging from a ceiling. And the easiest DIY one of all is the Post-it heart collage by Jason Grant for Officeworks.
