Who says bedrooms can’t be colorful and fun?! I certainly don’t! I know many people that are attracted to color but that are scared to introduce it into their bedrooms. Whatever makes you happy and inspired should be exactly what you wake up to. And color has a way of waking our senses up, even when we don’t want our senses awakened.

One easy way to add color into your bedroom is through throw pillows. They’re easy to change out, easy to clean and easy to reposition. You can find colorful pillows in almost any home store that you visit. And if you want to save a little money, sew your own using a fabulous colorful fabric.

When layering pillows, place the colorful pillow behind your more neutral pillows. This will add just a minor splash of color and keep your bedroom more on the serene side.

Mix and match patterned and colored pillows. Use the colors that you find in the pattern and add just a few solid pillows to the equation.
