Creative Ways to Style Your Sink

Styling your sink can go one of two ways. It can be a clean and simple look or you can create a sink style vignette. There’s really no right or wrong way of going about it.
If you are looking for a more modern look, choose what your necessities are and display them in a way that looks clean and straight to the point. Adding a big mirror above any sink gives off the look of a bigger space. This is highly recommended if your bathroom is tiny.

Choosing the right lighting is vital in any situation especially above or around the sink area. Without much effort, adding the perfect light fixture makes your sink an eye catching space. It’s like wearing the right pair of shoes with a new outfit. Also, just adding a few herbs or plants around your sink creates an instant masterpiece.

Wooden cutting boards are so easy and fun to work with. You can find them anywhere without spending a pretty penny. Don’t be afraid to play with different shapes, sizes and colors. To add a cleaner look, find a few black ceramics and display them near the boards. This ties in an older look with a new look.

Succulents around a sink just might be one of my favorite things. They are not only low maintenance but they bring literal life into a space. You can either add just one or pair them together for a more full look. Marble containers are one of my ‘go-to’ planters right now. Each one is unique in design.

When displaying your necessities, try to find a beautiful branded bottle for your soap and lotion. With the bottles being so uniquely designed, you can leave your sink at just that and nothing more.

Along with a simple dark glass branding bottle, wooden brushes paired on the side gives off a variety of colors. I love displaying these brushes in my favorite ceramic jar. Choose a color for your jar that compliments the accessories surrounding it.
