Harmony: A consistent, orderly, or pleasing arrangement of parts; congruity.

In music harmony refers to a combination of musical notes that produce a pleasing sound, but in design, it’s all about how a rooms’ elements work together to create a beautiful space.

To successfully achieve harmony in a space, a room must have a proper balance of patterns, colors, textures and shapes that are complementary, while not overpowering one another.

We’ve put together a few examples of harmonious spaces below, and it’s much easier to do than you may think!
