How to Use Patterned Rugs in Your Bedroom

Pattern Rugs work so well in bedrooms because often the flooring/carpet is simple, understated, and meant more for comfort than design. Adding a patterned rug to your area of slumber is a great way to create a tone. I typically like to keep bedding very simple and add color and vibes through rugs. Area rugs in the bedroom add that extra comfort where you need it most and give you another option to add stellar style. Choose a pattern that is unique and speaks to your styling needs because your bedroom is a space that is meant just for you.

The space above is so simple and pure and the rug completely captures the focus of the room. This is done so perfectly because the busy rug is the only accent piece needed to give this bedroom its zing.

Deep Hues

I like this patterned rug because it brings beautiful, deep hues into a very light and bright space. This creates a contrast that speaks volumes and is complemented by the wood flooring.

Scandinavian Inspiration

What a gorgeous space. This pattern is perfect for a cozy bedroom. The area rug gives the space an accent color while still maintaining a classic Scandinavian look.

Bright Colors

This bedroom is full of bright, beautifully styled color while the rest of the room is subtle and neutral. This rug brings brightness into any season.

Would you put a patterned rug in your bedroom space?

  1. I really like these more unusual modern patterned rugs. Where is the best
    place to find them?

  2. The rug pattern is quite unique and it compliments the rest of the room. I like the bold , bright colors for autumn.
