Elle Decor Modern Life Concept House
Art Basel is one of the design industry’s premier annual events and, this year, Caesarstone partnered with ELLE DÉCOR for a very special exhibit: the 2015 Modern Life Concept House. Located at 250 Wynwood in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District, this 6,000 square-foot sustainably built condominium home acted as a blank canvas for five leading designers to create a work of interior art.
Designers Daniele Busca, Matthew MacDonald, Elizabeth Martin, Sam Robin and Fernando Wong were selected by ELLE DÉCOR editor-in-chief Michael Bodroo to design and decorate 250 Wynwood in a style that would reflect the creative spirit of the neighborhood.
The designers did not disappoint! As you can see in these photos, each of their designs is unique, creative and complementary to the home’s modern architectural features. Caesarstone surfaces are used throughout the unit, reflecting the sleek and sustainable design of 250 Wynwood.
Visitors to the Modern Life Concept House enjoyed touring the rooms and admiring the decor, as well as the curated artwork selected by Wynwood gallerist and Art Basel exhibitor Anthony Spinello of Spinello Projects. The $35 admission fee was donated to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to support pediatric cancer research.
250 Wynwood was created by Fortis Development Group as the first in a series of sustainable boutique residences in the Wynwood Arts District. Caesarstone is proud to have been a part of this distinctive design project at Art Basel 2015.
