Mixing folk melodies with modern lyrical structure, the song “Ho Hey” from Denver-based band The Lumineers is a fantastic example of the modern-day Americana/pop tune. Solid vocals and pure acoustic instruments lend to a song that is as American as can be, and we’ve strung together a few interior designs that perfectly complement the laid back, rustic vibe.

The repeated “Ho” and “Hey” chant is like a burst of color throughout the song, which brought to mind brilliant splashes of yellow in a tame space. Photo courtesy of Advanced Innovation Inc.

No division here! The backing vocals that weave in and out of the tune evoke a sense of togetherness and unity, much like an open floor plan. Photo courtesy of 186 Lighting Design Group.
