Chef Ludo Chooses Caesarstone at Home
You may not be a foodie, but you’ve probably heard the name Chef Ludo. That’s the nickname of Ludo Lefebvre, one of the most influential restaurateurs in the world. Though he’s called Los Angeles home for many years, garnering accolades for his work at L’Orangerie and Bastide, Chef Ludo is known internationally for his inventive cuisine and his innovative pop-up concept restaurants LudoBites. Most recently he’s experienced massive success with two new LA restaurants, Trois Mec and Petit Trois. When he’s not whipping up 5-star food at his various ventures, Chef Ludo is cooking at home in his recently renovated kitchen featuring Caesarstone.
Of course Chef Ludo’s kitchen has to-die-for design, courtesy of Ginny Capo. We love the industrial yet organic feel of the kitchen, augmented by three distinct colors from Caesarstone’s collection.
A combo of Organic White, Blizzard, and Calacatta Nuvo bring visual variance to the design while keeping things airy. Although all pale shades, these particular surface colors have extra elements such as marble-like veining or speckling that elevate them above plain old white.
Here you can see the delicate veins of Calacatta Nuvo adding a little extra je ne sais quoi to the prepping surface.
It’s always a pleasure to see highly regarded chefs turning to Caesarstone when it comes to their personal kitchens.
