Outfit to Room: The Breezy Outfit

by ·

There is something so beautiful about an easy breezy outfit. Summertime and early fall are the seasons to watch the effortless outfits that surround us. From light jackets to linen shirts to fun sunnies and beyond, we see an array of stylish ensembles that require less, which makes for more. When translating this to room decor, you get a seamless space full of breathable fabrics and fresh accessories. Below is an outfit that was just born to be created into a cool space.

The combination of the patterned shorts and linen shirt makes this outfit very transitional from one season to the next. When interpreting this into a room, I found the fabulous patterned rug that mixed well with the upholstered linen chair. Both items can be paired with heavier decor pieces when changing things up for the winter months. I also chose the globe pendant because it gives off pretty patterns when the light is on. It replicates the shorts in an unexpected way.

We all love a good budget-friendly item in both our wardrobe and home decor. The Ikea Karlstad is one of those pieces that can be placed in a room full of high priced items and fit right into the aesthetic.

Let your closet not only inspire your outfits but also your home. How do you find inspiration in fashion?
