Best of the Best: Top Caesarstone Events of 2015
Caesarstone had a busy 2015! We celebrated amazing design with many special events showcasing our favorite artists and designers from around the world. From Design Week in Milan to the Evening of Color in Chicago during Neocon, there was no shortage of creative and new ideas to inspire your next home renovation. Here are our favorite design events from 2015.
Philippe Malouin, world renowned designer, was commissioned with designing the installation for this event. The installation piece, called 'Movements', was a continuation of previous collaborations with Nendo and Raw Edges. 'Movements' was on view inside the grand palace Palazzo Serbelloni in Milan, showcasing an 8-piece swing-set and a handmade group of planters. Over 1,000 guests attended the special event during Milan Design Week and took their turn on the swings.
To celebrate the release of ten new colors in the quartz collection, Caesarstone hosted an Evening of Color in Chicago. We sought out several visionary Chicago-based artists to display their work in a gallery-like setting in the rustic, vintage warehouse space of Salvage One. Hundreds of guests enjoyed an Evening of Color which inspired all the senses.
Caesarstone had a special opportunity to participate in the first annual StyleMakers event this past November. This year’s honorees included fashion designer Zac Posen, costume designer Lyn Paolo, stylist Elizabeth Stewart, hair stylist Jen Atkin, make-up artist Lisa Eldridge, photographer Matthew Rolston and style icon Frieda Pinto. The honorees were introduced by the celebrities who rely on their talents to make them look and feel great – and this year’s presenters were an accomplished group, indeed. They included Katie Holmes, Kerry Washington, Viola Davis, Kourtney Kardashian, Kelsey Grammer, and more.
Caesarstone tables and bars were chosen to cater to the star-studded list of talented attendees. In addition, red carpet walkers signed Caesarstone samples, which will collectively be made into a mosaic, designed by the gifted interior designer and television personality, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, and auctioned off to support the LA Kitchen.
In addition to sponsoring these incredible design events, Caesarstone also offered fans an opportunity to win $500 playing this Celebrity Matching Game for the Emmys! The player who was able to match the celebrities in the fastest time took home the grand prize. Take a stab at it yourself.
Caesarstone's Oscars Game was also huge hit this year! We created a Style quiz to help you determine which celebrity shares your interior style. Do you have Oscar-worthy style? Have some fun and find out!
