Designer Spotlight | Jameson Interiors

Everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes designs! We’re exploring the creative spaces of Austin design firm Jameson Interiors. The full-service firm is dedicated to creating sustainable, functional and creative environments for both residential and commercial clients since its founding in 1999 by principal designer Amy Jameson. Let’s begin!

When the client wants to mix their extensive art collection, passion for music and travel, and a one-of-a-kind design, you get tons of color! Jameson worked directly with the client and artisans to create a home that embodies the heart and soul of South Austin.

If experimenting with a funky pattern isn’t enough for your eclectic taste, what do you think of a mosaic backsplash? Jameson created a custom tile installation with the help of Paul Adams, then included a Betty Boop motorcycle art piece above a bright yellow oven. The white cabinets and Frosty Carrina countertops highlight the mosaic as the kitchen’s centerpiece.

The white cabinet + Frosty Carrina countertop combo was extended to the guest bathroom with all the eclectic vibes of the kitchen! Red dime tiles created a perfectly symmetrical pattern both on the walls and as a border on the floors.

If simplicity is more your style, Jameson brings you this mid-century refresh. They used all existing furniture and art and simply updated the surfaces, finishes and fixtures. Jameson found the old-meets-new balance by using white cabinets as a base and dressing it up with Raw Concrete countertops and a simple subway tile backsplash with hints of purple. Can you spot the dishwasher? Hint- it’s hiding behind cabinetry panels!

More storage, more counter space, more walking space, more of everything! That’s the thought one might have when working with a growing family. Jameson designed this family mudroom with utility in mind by adding durable Raw Concrete countertops and custom, deep blue cabinets.

Every powder room deserves a chandelier (and a painting of a dapper owl)! The two statement pieces were paired with Jameson’s white cabinet + Frosty Carrina countertop duo and a beautiful blue-grey paint.

If you’re looking for a show-stopping bathroom design, look no further. A nine-foot floating vanity made of Sleek Concrete with wall mount faucets is all you need! The space is complete with oak shelves, industrial hanging lights, and a steam shower.

Calling all fans of white kitchens - Jameson Interiors is showing how it’s done! The white cabinets are broken up with stainless steel appliances and light veining in the Frosty Carrina countertops. And, of course, the family dog makes it in the photo opp.

The kitchen is complete with floor- to- ceiling cabinets of various sizes. That dark flooring? An exotic engineered hardwood. What’s not to love?

From eclectic homes to modern dreams, Jameson Interiors provide timeless design solutions that tell their own personal story.
