Designer Spotlight | Palm Design Group

If you couldn’t tell from the gorgeous photo above, Phoenix, Arizona-based Palm Design Group really knows how to design kitchens. This rustic-inspired space is picture perfect, from the iron chandelier and soaring ceiling to the beautifully carved cabinetry complemented by Frosty Carrina countertops from Caesarstone. It’s unsurprising that Palm Design Group owner Dana Lyon recently told Phoenix Home and Garden, “My dream home would have a very large kitchen…I would need that as a base…Everything else could be really simple. But the kitchen is extremely important.”

We couldn’t agree more! A quick spin through Palm Design Group’s portfolio shows how innately the firm understands the importance of the kitchen and how seamlessly they can blend modern, traditional and rustic elements without missing a beat. We love how this contemporary kitchen is playful, fresh and a little bit whimsical while still being sleek and up-to-date. Quirky touches like the sparkly tiled walls, Lucite candleholders, and funky cut outs on the chair rests are super fun and just make you smile. Plus, what foodie wouldn’t love prepping meals on those expansive Pure White countertops?

Here’s another wonderful kitchen from Palm Design Group, also incorporating Pure White countertops from Caesarstone. This transitional design blends together traditional and modern elements for an inspired space that has the spaciousness of contemporary design with the hominess of a traditional kitchen. Those wrought-iron lanterns are a fabulous touch.

This is a traditional kitchen from the Palm Design Group. We love how the low island (featuring durable Blizzard countertops from Caesarstone) functions almost as a second dining table or extended work space. It’s a perfect spot to set out appetizers for a party or to enjoy a glass of wine while prepping for a formal dinner.
