Serene Bathrooms

When I think of serene bathrooms, I think of spa like spaces with lots of natural light, natural wood and soft white hues. I also think of crisp white towels, greenery and lavender scents filling the space. Anyone can create a space that feels like a spa. Just think back on what your favorite spa/hotel bathroom experience has been and then create your own interpretation. Below are a few ideas for achieving this look.

Placing a comfy chair in your bathroom can create a spa experience. Place a side table with pretty plant next to it and you have your own sitting area.

A small unfinished wood ladder makes for the perfect towel holder. It also looks great leaned up against a wall or hung on a wall. Also, a great thing about serene bathrooms is that you can go eclectic with the lighting. Brass, silver, can try it all!

Using a tray on your tub to display all of your favorite lotions and potions not only is functional but so beautiful! Also using a beach basket to store your towels is another functional tip.

When planning the design of your bathroom, using as many natural material as you can will create a soothing, organic space. Wood beams also create a cool, natural vibe. And when styling your bathroom, don’t forget about plants. They will love your serene bathroom!
